Happy Holidays!

I hope everyone who celebrates Christmas had a very merry one! I just wanted to say that and let everyone know our consumers loved their cookies, were pleasantly surprised and grateful!

Hope all is well and everyone is drafting their New Years resolutions!

More cookie stuff!

The cookie event went ok, for those of you who didn't attend (which is everyone but Sonja and her mom). Farida and I, with the help of Sonja, her mother, and some of our lovely Senior Center friends, got all the bags decorated and about 8 dozen cookies made. This means we need more cookies! If you would like to bake some and bring them in for next week, please let us know! We need 16 dozen more! We have some sugar cookie dough and gingerbread dough left if anyone would like to volunteer to roll them out, cut them and bake them! You'll earn time dollars for helping, don't forget!

Happy Holidays!

Holiday Community Event!

It's the Holiday season! You know what that means! ...No, not an endless loop of Christmas music you can't escape. It's the season of giving!

For our next community event, we were thinking it would lovely to make cookies and holiday cards for our 22 Home Delivered Meal consumers from the Agency. We could both bake the cookies and make the cards in the Senior Center, and I'm sure our homebound seniors would really appreciate the gesture! Not only that, it'd be a fun event for all ages and a great way for Time Bank Members to get to know each other and tell new people about Time Banking. So if anyone would like to step up and organize the event, we'd really appreciate it!

If you want to organize or attend, please let me know!

Presentation at the Library Tomorrow!

Hey all!

Tomorrow from 1:00 to 3:00 yours truly will be at the Union County Public Library giving a presentation on Time Banking for the general public. If you or anyone you know would be interested in joining us, please come by! It will be a great opportunity to ask any questions you might have about the computer program or Time Banking in general. Farida will be giving another presentation at the library on Thursday the 10th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm as well, if you can't come tomorrow.

Hope to see you there!
